Spring Decorations

I do NOT feel good today. My voice is kinda going in and out, my stomach hurts, and my head is killing me. I thought food my alleviate some of this but it didn't help-at all. So now I go to trying Excedrin. Hopefully that will help. This actually all started yesterday...I couldn't get warm and my entire body just felt heavy. I wonder if I'm coming down with the flu or something...

On a much nicer topic I've started getting all my Springy decorations out. Ok, truth is, I've had them out. I collect faerie figurines and even though most people associate them with flowers and what not, I've left them up all Winter. Instead of changing over my decorations in my room to snowflakes like I normally do, I left all my bright colors up along with my faeries and a few flowers here and there. Oh and of course the butterflies. And ya know what? It helped make this winter a ton more bearable. Normally by this time I'm sick of the snow and ready to scream at any mention of temperatures below the 60 degree mark. I'm still sick of the snow but I can also still tolerate it. Any time I feel a wave of the SAD stuff coming on I just glance in my room at all my pretty flowers and my Ivy that hangs in front of my window and somehow it's not so bad. I think I just needed to find a way to keep some summer throughout the winter.

Anyway I did get the rest of my decorations out though. I had white flowers out to take the place of the Christmas stuff but I'm slowly putting those away now and replacing them with pink flowers. Also tossing some pink candles in here and there. This year I'm also going to get a few bird figurines to set about with the faeries, flowers, and butterflies. Yes, I'm attemting to make my room look like a garden and so far it's working ^_^ I got this one little bird the other day from Factory Card-my first one-and he goes perfectly. I don't want a lot of birds, just a few.

Speaking of birds, I'm sitting at work right in front of the door and this tiny little bird just hops right up to the outside of the door and looks at me chirping. There are several other birds out there that are picking about in the dried leaves attempting to find food. It's so nice to hear their songs and see them about. Makes me believe that maybe Spring isn't too far away...
